How to Install & Use Web To Anki

Step 1: Install AnkiConnect

To allow the extension to communicate with your local Anki app:

1. Open the Anki application on your computer
2. Go to Tools → Add-ons → Get Add-ons
3. Paste this code: 2055492159
4. Click OK. Anki will download and install AnkiConnect
5. Restart Anki to complete setup

Step 2: Install the Web To Anki Extension

Download the extension from the Chrome Web Store or Firefox Add-ons page:

• → Chrome Web Store (link)
• → Firefox Add-on (link)

Step 3: Log In and Start Creating Flashcards

Once installed:

1. Click the Web To Anki icon in your browser toolbar
2. Login if required (e.g., with your token or license)
3. Highlight text/images on any webpage
4. Click "Add Flashcard" or use the side panel to review & send
5. Your flashcards will appear in Anki instantly (if Anki is running with AnkiConnect installed)
